Tiffany E. Slater, PhD is a Human Resources professional with over 20 years of experience in union and non-union settings. Dr. Tiffany is known for her progressive generalist experience, as well as her genuine, empathetic leadership style and enthusiastic support of small business owners. Dr. Tiffany has been touted as “the perfect solution for professionalizing and streamlining all things HR.”

Dr. Tiffany’s parents were business owners themselves, and she was surrounded by strong entrepreneurial women from a young age. No doubt this led to refining her craft and starting a consultancy of her own! As a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Dr. Tiffany was also regularly immersed in the importance of effective advocacy and social change that results in equality and equity for all citizens of the world.

One of her greatest joys is inspiring others to reach their highest level of achievement. That’s why she’s so passionate about helping small business owners create HR systems and policies that support the whole company. Her live series, “Conversations with Consultants,” highlights necessary resources that make a business owner’s work-life better and easier – creating a work environment that promotes joy for the owner and their team.

During her time off, you can find Dr. Tiffany dancing around her home while cooking a delicious meal or immersed in a great movie with her husband and two boys. She’s always down for a good conversation about real success (or failure) and the JOY of a well-lived life.

Shayla Unik


Shayla Unik Davis, also known as Shayla Unik, is a highly skilled and certified human resources professional with a decade of experience in the industry. Starting as a Human Resources Assistant, Shayla swiftly progressed to become the Director of Human Resources. In 2019, she obtained her Certified Professional Certification, SHRM-CP, a national recognition from the Society for Human Resources Management. Throughout her career, Shayla has introduced various internal processes such as onboarding, open enrollment strategies, policies & procedures, managing the transition to remote work during COVID-19, and more. Shayla's commitment to maintaining the human touch in Human Resources has led to her being honored as one of Michigan's Most Valuable Millennials by Corp! Magazine (2019), receiving two nominations for Crain's 40 under 40, and participating in Crain's Leadership Academy (Cohort 5). She continues to provide professional human resource support to small businesses and individuals, aiming to establish sustainable processes that prevent common, expensive errors.

Alicia Jackson


Alicia is a versatile professional with a background in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri. With 8 years of experience in engineering and specializing in communications, 2D and 3D design, Alicia transitioned to become a professional fine artist.

Currently contributing to HR Tailormade in HR and design roles, Alicia brings a blend of analytical thinking and creativity to the team, working to enhance project aesthetics.

Outside of work, Alicia enjoys biking, nature, and spending time with family, finding balance between professional and personal pursuits.

Angie Luo


Angie is an action-oriented dreamer who’s remembering how to play and rest. With core values of creativity, authenticity, and joy, her personal mission statement is to "flow toward love and celebration."

Angie’s educational training spans the social sciences (with an emphasis in psychology), non-governmental organizations and social change, social entrepreneurship, and humane product development.

She’s the Co-Founder of the Interfaith Business Network and a 2017 Questbridge Scholar, 2019 State of Formation Fellow, Interfaith America Emerging Leader, and 2023 Morgridge Acceleration Program Fellow.

Angie lives in San Francisco with her husband, Daniel. In her free time, she loves to bake, read, salsa dance, spend time outdoors, and attempt to make ramen bowls on the wheel.

Lucia Magwojo


Lucia is passionate about providing effective administrative support by reducing business owners’ workloads. Having studied Organizational Psychology with a Masters in Corporate, Social Responsibility, Lucia understands the importance of assisting business owners to assess where to change systems to make the business work better.

Lucia brings 10+ years of experience providing virtual project management and administrative support to CEOs and founders in various industries - health, coaching, yoga, leadership, intimacy, education, and public speaking. She’s a versatile creative with an analytical mind.

When she’s not working, Lucia loves to listen to podcasts and relax with her nose in a good book.
